「もっともっと習いたい」伝統エイサー習いに沖縄へ スイス人男性が伝統文化の魅力を堪能A tourist visiting Okinawa from Switzerland experienced an #Eisa performance at Heshikiya in Uruma-shi and enjoyed the charm of traditional culture.
Emanuel H., a tourist from Basel in north-west Switzerland, visited Okinawa to experience Heshikiya Eisa in Uruma-shi, which is said to have a history of more than 200 years.
H. became interested in the performance after watching it on a video-sharing website about two years ago.
After receiving direct instruction from a member of the Heshikiya Eisa Preservation Society, H. donned a white lintel and black-dyed kasuri costume and dared to dance with a parangku in hand.
Emanuel H., 42.:
'I feel good about the way I dance and move. I want to learn more and more. It's interesting and feels good.'
Takeshi Azuma, Heshikiya Eisa Preservation Society:
'I am impressed that you came here because you actually want to learn eisa.'
Mr H. was enthusiastic about spreading the appeal of eisa far and wide after returning home.
