We're going to play Kagiyadifuu live on the "Sanshin no hi" event on Ryukyu Broadcasting Corporation i Radio. Don't miss it, it will be live streamed on
We will be performing live in the programme, at exactly 12:00 CET. We have been working very hard for 10 days learning the 'kagiyadifuu' 😅.
Kagiyadifuu is a song which dates back to the Ryukyuan court under King Sho (1700-1752) and is played along a dance. This tradition is played for ceremonies to celebrate and worship longevity, wealth of the progenies, and rich harvest. It has been passed on from generation to generation #utasanshin
