More than 200 UK writers have demanded a trade boycott of Israel, in the latest boost for the BDS campaign, which, before 2023 had seemed to be flagging a little. The main voice of the BDS campaign, Omar Barghuti, is himself an Israeli citizen, and, as he pointed out once, it isn't really practical to try to boycott the country where one lives. All we do try to do is not buy products from Israeli settlements in the West Bank, which is an older effort. Even that is very difficult. You can, at the most, try to read the fine print on labels.
