#OpenWebAuth is in the Fediverse since 2017, replacing its precedessor Magic Auth dating back to 2010. (history timeline).

Fediverse software having implemented it are #Hubzilla, #(streams), #Forte, #FedIAM, #Friendica (partial), and maybe more.

There have also been discussions or proposals for implementing it in:

#Mitra would also actually be a good fit architecturally, because it uses ActivityPub actor keys and supports portable identity work (FEP-ef61). (@silverpill)

If the OpenWebAuth specs should not be sufficient enough for the implementation in your Fediverse software, you can always ask the developers of Hubzilla, @Mario Vavti and @Harald Eilertsen. And if I remember correctly, @pascal has some experience in implementing it.

It is in the interest of all Fediverse developpers to work together on this.
