Micah is familiar with the teaching of martial arts and dance. In 2003, he fell in love with wadaiko during a performance by Eri Uchida and joined Eri's new wadaiko group "Yamabiko Taiko" in Canada. The group practised together for a long time and often performed in front of audiences until Eri returned to Japan and joined the renowned wadaiko group "Kodō". Micah Wadaiko has been teaching in Zurich and Fribourg with Taiko Zürich since 2013 and in Basel with tr'ensemble since 2024. He shares his passion for wadaiko with others and is committed to popularising wadaiko in Switzerland.
