⟨THE TRANSIENTS⟩ is a series of improvisation performances initiated by choreographer Yeonji Han. It aims to serve as a platform where improvisers and transdisciplinary artists collaborate in the local area where it takes place. Through a series of short pieces, it unravels the chemistry of joint performers with their profound practices and methodologies. Audiences are invited to witness the performers' making process, experiencing both its fantasy and terror.
The series endeavors to explore spaces that can transform into theaters and frames capable of conveying performances. Creating space and time for artists to practice transdisciplinary connections, exchanges, stimulation, and awareness. Based on the body as material, the mind of finding out, and the heart of welcoming unfolding stories, we encounter. At the end, all performers transiently gather to listen to what this composition itself will tell for one last time.

⟨THE TRANSIENTS⟩는 안무가 한연지가 기획한 즉흥 퍼포먼스 시리즈로서, 즉흥을 매개로 활동하는 예술가들과 여러 분야를 넘나드는 transdisciplinary 예술가들이 퍼포먼스가 열리는 지역에서 만나 협업하는 플랫폼이다. 각 작업자는 심도 있는 방법론과 실천을 통해 순간적으로 구성되는 단편작을 만든다. 관객은 퍼포머들이 만들어 내는 과정의 환상과 테러, 그 사이 모두를 목격하게 될 것이다.
본 시리즈는 극장이 될 수 있는 공간, 공연이 될 수 있는 프레임을 실험한다. 신체성을 둘러싼 다학제 간의 연결과 교류, 자극과 인지를 만들어 보는 연습의 장이 되고자 한다. 공연의 끝, 퍼포머들은 일시적으로 transiently 모여 그 구성 자체가 말하려는 것에 귀 기울여 보고자 한다. 우리는 물질로서의 몸, 발견하는 마음, 펼쳐지는 이야기를 환대하는 심장으로 만날 것이다. 모든 순간은 단 한 번 일어난다.
